Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year in Northern California. This role is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a collaborative and dynamic educational environment. The specific caseload and onsite expectations will be determined closer to your start, offering a degree of flexibility to match your skills and preferences. Ideal candidates will bring experience in school-based Speech-Language Pathology and hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You will work alongside a team of educators and related service providers, making a direct difference in the lives of students while enjoying the advantages and variety that come with working as a travel professional.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Adaptability in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders for students on caseload Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and consultative therapy services individually and in small groups Offer family and teacher education to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture This district has a history of welcoming travel professionals, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
