A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

We are actively seeking three Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a supportive school district serving students throughout the High Desert region of Southern California. These full-time opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year and support elementary, middle school, and K-12 caseloads. Both experienced CCC-SLPs and qualified Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy services to students in school settings Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams Support students with articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication needs Maintain compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district guidelines Qualifications Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a student caseload and maintain documentation requirements Benefits Competitive weekly pay Full-time school-year schedule Supportive special education team Professional development opportunities Travel opportunities available for qualified candidates Consistent hours throughout the school year
