Youll provide virtual speech-language therapy while conducting in-person assessments, ensuring students receive high-quality services within their educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP-CCC license required (no waivers considered) Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) for the academic year Recent experience with elementary-age populations Strong knowledge of AAC devices and strategies Skilled with SEIS and SEIS billing systems Familiarity providing services to students with Autism, severe behaviors, and nonverbal communicators Able to deliver both push-in and pull-out speech services across 12 campuses
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement virtual speech and language therapy sessions, adjusting approaches based on individual student needs Conduct in-person student assessments as required by caseload Develop and carry out IEP goals, closely collaborating with teachers, staff, and families Document progress and manage compliance through SEIS platforms and billing Provide effective communication strategies for students with significant disabilities and high behavioral needs Support students social skills, academic participation, and overall communication growth in the classroom and therapy settings Serve as a resource for staff and families, fostering a positive learning environment Take advantage of the chance to work within a forward-thinking school community, supporting PreK8th grade students with varying needs in an engaging and adaptive setting.
