Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real impact by supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic educational setting. We are searching for three full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to deliver vital services across a range of school environments. In this itinerant position, you'll have the unique opportunity to work with multiple caseloads, gaining exposure to diverse student populations and collaborating with professionals at both the county and district levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP-CCC credentials required Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred Comfort traveling between sites and working with various age groups and caseload sizes Strong collaboration and communication abilities Commitment to supporting IEP goals and advocating for student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized therapy plans according to students' IEPs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication needs and supports Travel to multiple sites as part of an itinerant team, ensuring continuity and quality of service Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the education community If you're driven to help every child find their voice, this opportunity gives you the platform and variety to make a difference throughout the school year.
