Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate amongst multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of evaluation, diagnosis, and development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Compassionate, creative, and dedicated to delivering student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support educational goals Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with district and federal guidelines Provide both individual and group therapy sessions Stay abreast of current methodologies and best practices in speech-language pathology This position offers the flexibility of contract work and the rewarding experience of impacting students learning journeys.
