A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

We would love to have a conversation with you! Our All Star Physical Therapy location in La Quinta, CA is looking for a driven and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our close-knit, outpatient orthopedic team. We are in the process of opening a new location dedicated just to Speech Therapy and want you to Lead it. We pride ourselves on our family-like culture and loyal patient following, and we're seeking someone who shares our strong work ethic and passion for excellent care. In this role, we are looking for someone who can utilize their valuable experience evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders for patients in an outpatient setting. Respotionsibilities include conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence based therapy, documenting progress and interdisciplinary team members to support outcomes. Develop functional care plans, long and short-term goals for each patient according to their respective disorders and deficits. Provide treatment for both adult and pediatric populations according to their respective plan of care. Supervise and co-sign for SLPAs If qualified, supervise student interns Qualifications Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited University. ASHA Certification Licensure from the California Board of Speech Language Pathology Evidence of ongoing clinical education
About Compensation:
$50
  • $65/hour + productivity bonus, paid continued education and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
