Insight Into the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) in an early intervention, in-home setting. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate clinician who is passionate about working with infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) and supporting their communication development through family-centered care. You will be serving families in Antelope Valley, CA (Lancaster, Palmdale, and surrounding areas) , providing therapy in the child's natural environment. One of the best parts of working with us is our flexible, family-friendly scheduling —you choose your availability. This role is ideal for a Clinical Fellow seeking strong mentorship while building hands-on experience in early intervention within a supportive private practice setting. Caseload & Schedule Flexible schedule (you choose your availability) Typical sessions: 45-60 minutes 10-15 visits per week (depending on your personal preference and client availability) Local geographic clustering to help minimize driving time The Awesome Work You Will Do Provide in-home speech and language therapy for children ages 0-3 Implement individualized, play-based, and family-centered therapy sessions Educate and coach parents/caregivers to support skill carryover Conduct ongoing assessments and track progress toward goals Complete timely and accurate documentation (SOAP notes, progress reports, etc.) Collaborate with families and other professionals as needed Maintain consistent communication with your supervisor and team We Would Love If You Have Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Eligible for California SLP license (or in process) Clinical Fellow (CFY) status Strong interest in early intervention and working with ages 0-3 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a home-based setting Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Preferred (but not required): Early Start or Regional Center experience Experience working with: Late talkers Early signs of autism Developmental delays Parent education/coaching Benefits & Compensation W-2 Employee $48.00-$54.00 per hour for therapy (based on experience and documentation quality) $75 per assessment (with written report) Mileage reimbursement (per state statute, between client visits) Flexible scheduling (daytime, after school, evenings, and/or weekends) Team meetings and peer collaboration Opportunities for advancement Referral program Our Ideal Candidate Passionate about helping young children communicate Enjoys working closely with families and caregivers Creative, patient, and engaging during therapy sessions Organized and able to manage documentation independently Excited to grow within a private practice setting At Listen Before You Speak Speech Therapy Services, PC, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members and the families we serve.
