Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Livermore, CA. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference for children with speech and language disorders while refining your clinical expertise in a team-centered environment.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct detailed assessments for students with diverse speech and language challenges Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Lead engaging therapy sessions to help students achieve their communication goals Document progress accurately, ensuring compliance and transparency in reporting Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff—including teachers, therapists, and administrators—for holistic student support Involve and educate families as active participants in the therapy process Desired qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred Prior experience working with children in schools or pediatric settings is favored Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a dynamic team Compliance with all state-level requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists Benefit from a comprehensive support system that includes access to a professional advisory team with extensive school-based and state-specific SLP experience.
