Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing dedicated speech-language pathology services for pediatric students in a supportive school environment near Solvang, CA. This engaging role is perfect for an experienced provider or strong Clinical Fellow seeking meaningful impact through school-based therapy and intervention—on-site one day per week, eight hours each day. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through June 4, 2027, spanning 180 school days per year, plus an additional 20 days before and after each academic year to ensure thorough planning and follow-up. Enjoy competitive hourly pay between $45 and $55 while serving students through a single, manageable caseload (SLPx1). The focus of this position is on high-quality evaluation, treatment, and collaboration as a trusted partner in students' development.

What you bring:

Valid CTC permit (or documentation of active progress toward CTC; applicant is responsible for permit fee) Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCCs (or strong candidates on their Clinical Fellowship Year) Experience in school-based settings, especially working with pediatric populations Familiarity with teletherapy and willingness to provide remote services as needed Excellence in assessment, intervention planning, and IEP documentation Strong communication and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff Your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Delivering individualized and group therapy aligned with student IEPs Advocating for students' needs in multidisciplinary school teams Documenting progress, treatment plans, and compliance reports per district requirements Offering teletherapy services if necessary for access or continuity This flexible, part-time contract position allows you to focus on advocacy, impact, and professional growth while maintaining work-life balance.
