We are a small, clinic based outpatient pediatric therapy practice. We provide clinic based occupational and speech therapy for children between the ages of 0-13 years old in the West Los Angeles area. SPOT is a fun, flexible and collaborative practice with opportunities for personal and professional growth. It is of the utmost importance for us to maintain a supportive and caring environment for both our therapists and the families we serve! We are currently seeking a part or full time speech and language pathologist for our growing practice. This position is best for individuals who are personable, organized, enthusiastic, motivated and enjoy collaborating with other therapists and medical professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
Treatment planning Maintain accurate records of therapy including initial evaluations, session notes, progress reports, etc. Provide feedback to parents / caregivers regarding progress of clients as well as recommendations Supervise SLPA's Ability to work with various behaviors
Recommended Experience:
Treatment for Apraxia of speech, articulation challenges, fluency and stuttering Experience working with diagnoses including Autism, ADHD, and genetic disorders
Position Requirements:
At least 1-2 years of related pediatric experience Current CA Speech and Language Pathologist License Master's Degree from an Accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Clinical certification (CCC's) from ASHA Reliable WIFI accessibility Ability to pass background and reference check (FBI / DOJ) - clean Live Scan CA Driver's License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Successful completion (valid within 1 year) TB Test & CPR COVID Vaccination and booster required Ability to lift/pull/push items weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to stand, sit, twist, kneel, bend-over, crouch down, walk, sprint for extended periods of time We provide the following benefits: $500 signing bonus after 3 months Retirement Plans Continuing education assistance Flexible scheduling Ongoing mentorship and collaboration Paperless notes Check out our website for more information on our practice! www.spotforkids.com
