Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives through skilled speech and language support in a dynamic school setting. We're seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists—one for a full-time role and one for part-time—serving a caseload of approximately 30 students. Collaborate with an experienced team and have an impact on student growth and success every day.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with IEP processes and special education protocols Ability to provide both group and individual therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and observations to determine students' speech and language needs Complete progress reports and comprehensive documentation for IEPs Attend and lead IEP meetings, offering valuable insight into communication goals Participate in Student Study Team (SST) meetings as an integral team member Deliver direct speech and language services individually or in groups Develop appropriate intervention plans and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student success Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines for special education services This contract opportunity provides a chance to focus on meaningful, student-centered work.
