Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near Manteca, CA. Your expertise will make a tangible difference, helping children develop essential skills for academic and personal success. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current California SLP license or eligibility to obtain ASHA CCCs preferred, CFs considered Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings appreciated Strong collaboration skills and a passion for student advocacy Ability to independently manage caseload and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Create and implement individualized therapy sessions tailored to student goals Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for assigned students Provide guidance and education to stakeholders on best practices for supporting communication Experience the satisfaction of helping students find their voices and grow as confident communicators.
