Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic school setting, helping students enhance their communication skills critical for academic success.
Location:
Mc Farland, CA Contract Length:
Immediate start through 5/29/2026
Work Schedule:
7.5 hours per day, Monday through
Friday Daily Hours:
7:30 AM to 3:15
PM Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as needed Implement evidence-based practices to promote optimal communication development
Desired Qualifications:
Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed to practice in the state Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels Strong knowledge of school-based speech and language intervention methods Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with students and school staff Ability to plan and manage caseload efficiently while maintaining thorough records This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the learning experience of students by supporting their communication development.
