Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Mill Valley, CA. As a valued member of an interdisciplinary team, you'll have the opportunity to support students' communication needs, collaborate with teachers and families, and use your expertise to help children thrive academically and personally.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP preferred) Previous experience working with school-aged children Strong understanding of IEP procedures, assessment, and evidence-based intervention strategies Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational environment Current knowledge of assistive technology and teletherapy platforms is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in groups Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Provide guidance and training for classroom strategies and accommodations Remain current with best practices and continued professional development in the field This contract opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $60-$80, allowing you the flexibility to focus on your professional growth while making a positive impact in the school community.
