Job Description

Position Title:
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Assignment Dates:
ASAP June 9, 2027
Schedule:
35hrs/per week -

Contract Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for a school-based assignment in Williamsburg, Virginia. The selected therapist will support students by conducting assessments and evaluations, providing direct therapy services, and participating as a key member of the special education team throughout the school year. Responsibilities Conduct speech-language screenings, assessments, and comprehensive evaluations. Interpret assessment results and develop appropriate recommendations. Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals. Develop and maintain accurate and timely documentation and therapy notes. Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers. Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.
Caseload:
To be discussed during the interview process Qualifications Required Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current and active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License. Eligibility to work in a school setting. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Preferred Prior school-based experience. Experience working with diverse student populations and communication disorders. Assignment Details Why Join Us?
