Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment spanning August 14th to November 30th, covering a maternity leave near beautiful Mountain View, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact during the critical start of the school year, working within supportive educational environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). State licensure (or eligibility) for California. School-based SLP experience preferred. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills. Passion for supporting diverse student populations. Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assess students to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educators and families. Provide evidence-based, individualized therapy for identified students. Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster communication development in classrooms. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress planning.
