Job Description

Starting August 11, 2026, and extending through June 6, 2027, this onsite, full-time role spans a 37.5-hour workweek, ensuring your skills are put to impactful use throughout the academic year. Multiple caseload options are available, including placements in intensive and mild/moderate Special Day Classes at various age levels—from elementary through post-secondary. You'll deliver in-person services, design tailored interventions, and collaborate with educators and families to help every student reach their communication potential. Qualifications & Experience Active speech-language pathologist certification/license in California required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) expected Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills Dedication to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments Key Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Assess, document, and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Serve as a resource in creating supportive classroom strategies Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations Immerse yourself in a supportive school community where your skills will shape futures and inspire growth.
