Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the full 2026-2027 school year at an elementary site near beautiful Napa, CA. This is a contract position offering 35 hours per week, providing the chance to foster communication skills in a supportive and welcoming school setting.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school environment preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Dedication to evidence-based and student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for elementary-aged students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with student goals Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and IEP documentation Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and confidence This is an ideal position for SLPs eager to make a meaningful impact in an in-person role throughout the entire academic year.
