A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Location:
Sonoma & Napa Counties, CA Caseload:
Approximately 10-20 client hours per week, with the opportunity to build as desired. Citrus Speech is looking for an intelligent and thoughtful, Speech-Language Pathologist to join our small and supportive practice serving clients throughout Sonoma and Napa Counties. We believe excellent therapy starts with strong relationships. We provide evidence-based, individualized therapy while creating an environment where clients and their families feel genuinely known, supported, and cared for. We're looking for an SLP who values that approach and wants the flexibility and autonomy of managing their own caseload. Our goal is to make you feel supported and not micromanaged. Clinical Fellow:
$72

Who We're Looking For Our ideal SLP is intelligent, creative, resourceful, dependable, and, most importantly, kind and caring. We take seriously the responsibility of helping our clients communicate their thoughts, needs, and personalities to the world. We use evidence-based therapy approaches paired with each client's individual interests, needs, and goals to create an encouraging and supportive therapeutic environment. Because much of our work takes place in clients' homes, our SLPs often develop meaningful relationships with clients and their families. We're looking for someone who appreciates that connection — someone willing to take an extra few minutes to answer a parent's question, listen to a concern, or help a family understand the next step. Experienced CCC-SLPs and strong Clinical Fellow candidates are both encouraged to apply. Qualifications Current or eligible for California Speech-Language Pathology licensure CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow eligible to complete CF requirements Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations in Sonoma and/or Napa Counties Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Experience with medically complex clients is a plus, but not required Responsibilities Provide individualized speech and language therapy in clients' homes, schools, and other appropriate community settings Collaborate with clients and families to create mutually agreeable treatment schedules Assess and evaluate clients to determine speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide client and family education and strategies to support progress Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Maintain timely and accurate documentation Collaborate with other members of a client's care or educational team when appropriate Travel reliably and promptly between client locations About Citrus Speech Citrus Speech is a small practice where clinicians are trusted to be clinicians.
