What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy to students Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations Develop and implement IEP goals and effective treatment plans Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to collaborative planning Maintain accurate and timely documentation on student progress Support a diverse student population with varying speech, language, and communication needs Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other support staff to best serve each studentDesired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred Consideration given to exceptional Clinical Fellows (CFs) Prior school-based or pediatric experience is a plus Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills Enjoy competitive compensation ranging from $50 to $70 per hour for your dedication and expertise.
