Infinite Speech Care

($70-80 per hour) Hybrid School-Based In-Person Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

At Infinite Speech Care we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders with IEPs. This role is essential in providing high-quality student care and supporting individuals in achieving their communication goals. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with other professionals and providers (e.g., OT, PT), educators, and families to create effective treatment plans tailored to each student's individualized needs. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of student's speech and language abilities. Develop individualized educational plans based on students' evaluations and needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Provide school-based services for children with speech and language delays. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students' communication needs in educational settings. Educate students and families about speech disorders and treatment options. Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices. Qualifications Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech and language development. Experience or training in school-based is preferred. Familiarity with school-based terminology related to speech therapy. Strong patient assessment skills to evaluate communication disorders effectively. Previous experience in providing speech therapy services, particularly in school or clinical settings. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to develop rapport with children and adults alike, fostering a supportive environment for therapy.
