A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

We are a pediatric speech and language clinic rooted in a play-based, relationship-driven approach. Our work is grounded in supporting not just the child—but the entire family system. We celebrate progress in all its forms, from first sounds to confident conversations, and we're looking for clinicians who do the same. P.L.A.Y Speech & Language Center is a therapist-owned, child-led, relationship-based clinic located in the San Fernando Valley. By partnering with Regional Center, our support extends to the Antelope Valley as well. This position is open to therapists in the Antelope Valley (Palmdale, Lancaster, Quartz Hill).

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist:
Part-time/full-time position (hourly rate) : $60-70/hr (depending on experience) ✔ Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) preferred but not required ✔ In-Home Early Intervention (0-3 years old) ONLY position (Antelope Valley only) ✔ Flexible daily caseload ✔ Create your own schedule ✔ Supportive team — collaboration is part of the culture This role is ideal for someone who: Is a licensed SLP Has a strong clinical foundation—and a desire to keep growing Feels comfortable being playful, animated, and engaging in child-led sessions Communicates clearly and compassionately with families Enjoys collaboration and values being part of a team Takes initiative, while also appreciating guidance and mentorship
