Job Description

EMIT Learning is seeking an experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist to work on our school campus in Redding, CA, for the upcoming school year and the 2026-27 school year.

Schedule:
35-40 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid break included
Credential Required:
CCC-SLP Responsibilities Perform detailed speech and language assessments for pediatric patients across diverse settings, including schools and clinics. Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide clear documentation of assessment results, including diagnostic reports and progress notes. Engage with children and their families to explain assessment outcomes and recommend appropriate therapy or referrals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques, medical advancements, and best practices in patient assessment. Qualifications Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical environments. Strong understanding of speech therapy principles, patient care protocols, and developmental milestones. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology relevant to speech pathology. Experience conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing targeted intervention strategies.
