What they do

A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Requirements / Qualifications
Credential Copy Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation Resume Comments and Other Information In Person candidates only. Applicants who can only provide virtual services will not be considered. •Signing Bonus The payment shall be paid as follows: 1st half ($5000) to be paid in the first paycheck and 2nd half ($5,000) to be paid at the end of the 2nd school year providing the employee is in active paid status at the time of the final school year paycheck. Unit members hired without a full credential (Intern, permit, waiver, etc) shall become eligible the year following receipt of their credential.
