9639712-94063 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in students lives by providing speech and language services in a supportive school environment near Redwood City, CA.
Two opportunities are available:
one to cover a maternity leave through January 31, 2027 (with the possibility of extension), and another for a full academic year. These roles offer the chance to work with diverse student populations, from Pre-K through 8th grade, and manage caseloads of up to 55 students. The schools are seeking collaborative and compassionate professionals ready to help students reach their communication goals. You will deliver individualized and group speech therapy, participate in IEP meetings, and consult with educators and families to support students growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology California SLP licensure (or the ability to obtain it) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs in K-8th grade Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize students success Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
