Job Description

The role is based at a middle school, with the flexibility to start virtually for 30-60 days if needed, but requires onsite presence for most of the assignment. The weekly schedule is full time at 37.5 hours, providing you with the consistency to build meaningful connections with the school community while utilizing your expertise to foster student success.

Qualifications:

Hold an active California Speech-Language Pathology license. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required. Schools-based SLP experience preferred, especially within middle school populations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Primary Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs. Deliver both group and individual speech therapy services across diverse student needs. Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, goals, and student progress. Participate actively in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing staff development.
