This travel position focuses on providing SLP services to an elementary caseload, spanning Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th Grade. You'll collaborate closely with staff to support a wide range of student needs and have the unique opportunity to broaden your skill set through hands-on exposure to all facets of school-based SLP work.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active SLP licensure; CTC credential preferred but not required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school setting is a plus Competence in providing services from mild to severe disabilities Comfortable with direct therapy, assessments, and IEP development
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, grades TK-5 Provide direct speech and language therapy services Conduct evaluations and complete related paperwork Develop and implement IEPs for students with a variety of needs Communicate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
