This rewarding contract opportunity is available for three SLP professionals, each covering a unique leave of absence across preschool, elementary, or middle school settings within the area. Ideal candidates will provide essential speech-language support while enjoying the opportunity to potentially extend through the rest of the academic year, as the district is known for ongoing openings. Start dates are flexible, ranging from immediate openings to starts in mid-to-late September. Assignments extend through mid-December, or possibly through spring break and beyond, depending on need.

Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active California SLP license required Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and students Able to manage a caseload averaging 55 students per

SLP Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative SLP services for assigned schools (preschool, elementary, or middle school age groups) Develop and implement individualized student plans Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families Monitor, document, and report student progress Contribute to IEP meetings as required
