What You'll Bring:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) required Experience in school settings working with pediatric populations (elementary, middle, or high school) Strong ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their therapy approaches Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred, but not required Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Conducting screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments for students Developing appropriate goals and measurable objectives aligned with IEPs Delivering direct and consultative speech-language therapy Documenting progress, preparing reports, and participating in IEP meetings Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support students educational needs Providing input for program development and best practices in speech-language services Staying current with state guidelines and industry trends in school-based speech pathology Take advantage of this contract assignment located near Santa Ana and Covina, CA.
