Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a noticeable impact within a dedicated educational community. This full-time role runs through the remainder of the 25/26 school year, offering a stable and rewarding position for a skilled SLP ready to contribute their talents right away. You'll support a manageable caseload of 55 or fewer students, following well-documented plans and instructions left by the previous SLP, ensuring a smooth transition for everyone involved.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure/certification to practice in schools Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred Familiarity with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process Ability to efficiently complete assessments and deliver therapy services Effective communicator and collaborator within multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Complete current assessments following established guidelines and timelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to promote student progress Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Follow existing plans for continuity and progress monitoring
