Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care. The Speech-Language Pathologist will utilize their expertise in speech therapy, language therapy, and physiology to foster meaningful improvements in communication skills. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions across pediatric and adult populations. Develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions via in-person or telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care. Collaborate closely with patients' families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to support holistic treatment approaches. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and their families about communication strategies, exercises, and home programs to reinforce therapy outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for individuals with speech impairments or disabilities. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology, anatomy knowledge, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance clinical effectiveness. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; valid licensure or certification as required by the state or country. Proven experience working with children in early intervention settings as well as with adult populations, including geriatric patients. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric speech therapy, language therapy, and working with individuals with disabilities. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology related to speech and swallowing functions. Experience conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized assessments. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and proven telehealth experience is highly desirable. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams including educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Proficiency in medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, and working with EMR/EHR systems. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patient care across diverse age groups.
