Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students as a speech-language pathologist in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers a consistent part-time schedule of 15 hours per week for the 2026-2027 academic year, located near Simi Valley, CA. Work closely with a dedicated team of educators to provide speech and language services tailored to a diverse student community.
Key Qualifications:
Current California SLP Licensure required CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification required Open to clinical fellows (CFY) as well as SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Background in school-based speech-language therapy preferred Experience with pediatric populations, especially at the elementary level, is highly desirable Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students As a valued on-site team member, youll enjoy weekly pay, access to 401K retirement plans, and comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
