Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in California Previous experience working within school settings preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student populations and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and provide evidence-based therapy for students Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address speech, language, and communication needs Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and services Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to student planning, and communicate recommendations to staff and families Offer strategies and resources for generalization of communication skills across school environments Serve as an advocate for students developmental and educational success This position offers part-time hoursthree days per weekproviding an ideal solution for professionals looking to supplement other commitments or seeking flexibility within their schedule.
