Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Sonora, CA, working within a school setting. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to pediatric and school-aged students, focusing on thorough patient evaluations and targeted therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific goals Provide direct therapy sessions addressing speech and language objectives Monitor, document, and report on patient progress with detailed accuracy Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care Educate and involve families in the therapeutic process to support outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory Working in this role provides an opportunity to contribute to student development through evidence-based practices.
