Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current or eligible California SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status Background with pediatric and school-based caseloads Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop individualized therapy plans, set measurable goals, and track students' progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure consistency of care Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and thoughtful recommendations Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies Use evidence-based practices to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions This contract position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in students' academic and social growth.
