Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference every day by providing expert speech and language support to students in a dynamic school setting near Sunnyvale, CA. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a crucial part in helping children overcome communication barriers, supporting them in achieving their academic and personal goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program Valid SLP license in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive support Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Deliver in-service training and resources to staff as needed This contract opportunity offers the chance to expand your professional network and skill set while working in a supportive, engaging school environment.
