A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Fall 2026 Compensation Up to $83 per hour (based on experience) Up to $3,320 per week (Based on experience) Compensation is based on experience, placement, and qualifications Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field Valid California licensure and/or credential authorizing service as a Speech-Language Pathologist Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred Candidates currently enrolled in an approved California SLP credential program are encouraged to apply Responsibilities Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy programs Conduct speech and language evaluations and prepare assessment reports Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and services Provide direct therapy services and support student communication development Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams About Club Xcite For over 20 years , Club Xcite has partnered with schools throughout California to provide specialized education support and staffing solutions .
