In this assignment, youll fill three leave-of-absence positions, each with an average caseload of around 55 students. Your expertise will help empower young learners through personalized assessments and therapy, enhancing their communication skills and confidence in the classroom.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Hold an active California SLP license Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred Excellent collaboration and communication skills Flexibility to work full-time, on-site, five days per week Commitment to working across multiple age groups
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services directly to students Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Maintain detailed records and documentation as required Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Mentor and support communication development at the preschool, elementary, or middle school level, depending on assignment This is an on-site, full-time role, with guaranteed hours and the rich reward of seeing your influence in students everyday lives.
