Key Qualifications and Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligibility for California SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) welcomed, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities Commitment to collaborative practices with educators, families, and support staff
Role and Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Provide evidence-based therapy services in group and individual formats Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal standards Engage in regular meetings and IEP reviews to contribute insights and recommendations Educate and counsel families and staff on strategies for generalization and carryover of skills
