Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapeutic services within a school setting in Vista, CA. This role involves supporting students with speech, language, and communication disorders to help them achieve their academic and social potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver therapy services tailored to pediatric populations Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to monitor student progress Maintain accurate documentation according to educational and healthcare guidelines Participate in team meetings and support multidisciplinary approaches to student care
Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders in children Ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with educators Excellent communication and organizational skills
