Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits speech-language pathologists interested in making a difference in a dynamic elementary school setting. This role is based in an intensive preschool classroom, supporting a PreK caseload with a focus on providing individualized care—particularly for non-verbal students. You'll have the chance to work closely with young learners, collaborate with educators, and be a key part of helping students build a solid communication foundation. This position offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week at a single school, ensuring you can develop strong relationships with students and staff over the course of the school year. Ideal candidates will possess the following: Active Colorado SLP license (CF and CCC considered) Experience working with preschool-aged children Familiarity with supporting non-verbal and PreK populations is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to completing district credentialing requirements promptly In this onsite role, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting speech and language assessments for PreK students Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Providing direct therapy services in the intensive preschool classroom setting Tracking progress and maintaining accurate, timely documentation This contract runs from your start date through late May 2027, granting the opportunity for continued impact throughout the school year.
