Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding opportunity to support young learners in an engaging elementary school setting. We're seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract role, working with a caseload of 33 students in grades K-4 at a single site near Littleton, CO. This position emphasizes both clinical expertise and cultural competence, with a preference for candidates fluent in both English and Spanish. The school welcomes professionals experienced in pediatric speech therapy, including candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). The ability to provide services in a hybrid model may be available for exceptional candidates able to coordinate an effective schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for an active CDE license in Colorado (can interview while licensure is pending) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP preferred (CFYs are encouraged to apply) Demonstrated experience in school-based and pediatric settings Proven skills in teletherapy valued, but most services will be on-site Bilingual English/Spanish abilities highly desired Strong interpersonal and communication talents, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families No SLPA supervision required for this caseload
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students K-4 Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to foster student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to an inclusive school environment Tailor interventions to meet individual student needs, both in-person and possibly online Experience the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' growth in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
