Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year in a vibrant school setting near Peyton, CO. Qualifications:
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress Current Colorado SLP License CDE (Colorado Department of Education) SLP certification Experience in school-based speech-language therapy preferred Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices and progress tracking
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to elementary-aged students, both individually and in small groups Conduct assessments, interpret results, and determine eligibility for services Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed Consult with teachers and parents to support communication strategies in the classroom and at home Participate in team meetings and school-wide initiatives as needed Enjoy working in a setting that values your expertise while maintaining a healthy work-life balance—just two days per week.
