This on-site position provides specialized services in an intensive preschool classroom, focusing on PreK students, including non-verbal individuals. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week within one school site.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current, active Colorado SLP license required Open to SLPs with CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) status Previous experience working with PreK children strongly preferred Experience supporting non-verbal children is a distinct advantage Must complete district credentialing and contractor packet prior to start date Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students, tailoring strategies to a diverse range of needs Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, aides, and families to promote progress and generalization of communication skills Monitor and document student progress and maintain timely records in accordance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and multidisciplinary team discussions as required Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication methods as appropriate
