Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives on supporting children in their academic and social development. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility State licensure or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start date Experience in pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment Strong understanding of IEP processes and student goal-setting Excellent communication and organizational skills Dedication to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnosis of speech, voice, fluency, and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families Complete and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student support Offer direct and consultative speech-language services to students, adapting methods to suit diverse needs Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance communication and learning outcomes
