A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

  • 50/hour | Part-Time Post Rehab is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time opportunity at Civita Care Center Cheshire.
Join a collaborative rehabilitation team while providing individualized care to residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs. What You'll Do Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and functional goals Provide skilled interventions addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation Coordinate care with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals What We Offer $46
