We are looking for Super SLP'S to provide therapy to the pediatric population. Some opportunities for adult clients too!Location:
For this particular position, you will be working after school hours in a center based environment. There are also opportunites to work in clients' homes in New Haven and/or Fairfield County.Your Schedule:
You get to choose your clients', set your own caseload and hours! Total flexibility!Your Role:
You'll be providing therapy to children in a super fun and creative way. This means working closely with children and their families. What you'll be doing: Providing therapy sessions. Teaming up with other health and educational professionals. Teaching clients' and families therapy tips and tricks. Keeping client data and progress up-to-date. Paid per session, not by hour as a 1099 contractor. Requirements Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with independent CT licensure NPI number (or willingness to obtain) Comfortable working independently in homes/community Passion for helping children build their communication skills and independence in their natural environments Strong people skills and good communication. Excellent at staying organized and paying attention to details. Must be able to keep a positive and compassionate attitude! Why apply? A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.
