Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of children. Serving a pediatric school-based population, youll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help students overcome communication challenges and achieve their potential. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders. Working closely with your school team, youll deliver engaging therapy sessions and monitor student progress throughout the term of your contract.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut, or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting highly desired Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary education teams Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Primary responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders Document student progress and maintain required records in compliance with school and state guidelines Consult with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support student success Attend and participate in IEP meetings and team conferences Stay current on best practices and actively participate in professional development This position offers a supportive contract environment near New Britain, CT, where your skills help shape student learning and communication.
