Job Description

Step into a rewarding environment working with elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite contract position starts as soon as possible and runs through June 11, 2027, providing the unique opportunity to make a lasting difference over multiple school years. With several openings available and a 35-hour work week, your expertise will help students achieve their communication goals in a supportive, school-based setting. Youll primarily serve elementary caseloads, and some assignments may require you to split your time between two school sites.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Connecticut SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome if eligible for district supervision Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience Ability to obtain district-specific fingerprinting and background clearance Comfortable with in-person work at assigned locations Dedication to working closely with school staff and families SLPAs are not considered for this opportunity
What Youll Do:
Provide direct evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention services to elementary students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations Attend IEP meetings and support overall team goals Manage a dynamic schedule, occasionally working between two sites Youll play a crucial role in empowering young learners and supporting their communication development within a vibrant school community.
