Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state license for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged Previous school-based experience preferred, though new grads with clinical placements in schools are welcome Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive care Conduct group and individual therapy sessions within the school setting Provide support and education to families and staff about communication strategies Stay current with best practices in the field and participate in ongoing professional development This long-term substitute role enables you to grow your clinical expertise, build meaningful relationships, and expand your impactall within a supportive school community.
